Unfortunately, an installing guide for Windows 8 isn't available. However, you can try to follow the steps provided in the following guide that is for Windows 7 in order to configure your product. Also, you can visit the following resource website. All the available documentation / tutorials are available there.

I have the Data Access Pack for Salesforce.com and I'm trying to use the Export node to push data back into Salesforce, but I keep getting an error which states that functionality is not supported. Has anyone else tried this and been successful?

The only thing that's still available about this product is a PDF containing installation options. You can download it from the IBM website (direct download URL). No other information is presented for this software and the way it works. If you have the possibility, check the built-in help files. Most of these apps, have a user guide available for consulting. Additionally, browse the entire directory with files for this product using the same URL without the leading file.
